What's Cooking October 30th
I can't believe that November will be here this week! Where did October go? And for that matter, where has the year went? This week, in addition to our usual work and after school activities, I get to add parent teacher conferences to the list one night. It's the perfect opportunity for me to try out the delayed start on my Instant Pot. I think it's for pressure cooking... maybe it's for the slow cooker option? This Instant Pot world is new for me. I am enjoying figuring it out, but it's been a long time since I was this unsure in the kitchen. I like that this silly electric pressure cooker is keeping me humble.
Here’s what's going down in my kitchen this week.
Tuesday- Shrimp and Crab Ravioli with Spinach
Wednesday- Black Bean Soup with Creamy Cornbread
Thursday- Sticky Ginger Chicken (Instant Pot), Tasty Rice (rollover), and Stir Fry Vegetables
Friday- BBQ Cheddar Turkey Meatloaf, Red Skin Potatoes, and Green Beans
Sunday- Meat and Potato Quiche
Weekly Breakfast- Orange and Cranberry or Apple Spice Muffins
With Sausage and Spinach Frittata
Weekly Lunch-Baked Penne
Kitchen Day Pep List
