Chocolate Cherry Cobbler In the Slow Cooker

Yeah, y’all is good.

This is awesome! And oh so simple. You make it right in the slow cooker and it only has 4 ingredients. Does it get much better?

It’s decadent and has an ever so slightly tartness from the cherries. This cobbler is served straight from the slow cooker bubbly and hot and is best with vanilla ice cream.

Can I let you in a secret? I am not the biggest cherry fan and I still love it. So don’t let the cherries scare you off.

My apologies as there aren’t any step by step pictures this time. But I promise its easy to throw together.

Here’s what you do.

1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
2 Cans Cherry Pie filling
1 Stick Melted Butter
2 Tablespoons Water

  • Spray inside of Crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Empty cans of Cherry Pie Filling into bottom of crockpot, and spread out evenly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, melted Butter, and water. Stir until crumbly. {break up any large chunks into small crumbles with spoon}.
  • Pour cake/butter crumble mixture over cherries in crockpot, spread out evenly, and cover crockpot with lid.
  • Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or LOW for 4 hours. Remove the lid the last 30 minutes. Serve with Ice Cream.
